Megyn Kelly Launches MK Media with High-Profile Talent Lineup
Megyn Kelly, the former Fox News primetime anchor who successfully transitioned to the digital media landscape, has announced the launch of MK Media, a new podcast network aimed at expanding her influence in the creator economy. The network will feature shows from established journalists and commentators, positioning Kelly as a player in the increasingly competitive political podcast ecosystem.
“I’m thrilled to launch MK Media and to use our platform to help sane, reasonable, good-humored people build their own followings in this new media space,” Kelly said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. The network will initially host three shows covering news, politics, and entertainment.

Strategic Talent Acquisitions
MK Media’s initial lineup features a deliberately diverse array of voices. Mark Halperin, the veteran political journalist who previously worked at ABC News and Bloomberg, will host “Next Up,” a hard news-focused program. Maureen Callahan, a culture columnist at the Daily Mail with previous stints at Vanity Fair and the New York Post, will helm “The Nerve,” covering entertainment and cultural topics.
Completing the initial roster is Link Lauren, a political commentator and social media influencer who previously served as a communications advisor for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign. Lauren will host “Spot On,” a news show designed to appeal to younger audiences.
“Megyn is a powerhouse whose work ethic and journalism inspire me,” Lauren stated. “This venture is a win not only for me, but for my existing audience and those who’ve been dismissed by the mainstream media.”
Steve Krakauer, executive producer of “The Megyn Kelly Show” and Kelly’s morning news program “AM Update,” will oversee the network’s operations. All three inaugural shows are slated to launch in April and May.

Building on Digital Success
The network launch builds on Kelly’s successful pivot to digital media. Since launching her daily podcast in 2020 and subsequently partnering with SiriusXM in 2021, Kelly has built a substantial online presence. Her YouTube channel now boasts 3.5 million subscribers, with clips from her show generating hundreds of millions of views monthly, according to Kelly’s website.
Earlier this year, Kelly expanded her offerings with “AM Update with Megyn Kelly,” a 15-minute daily news show. “The show has been growing like crazy thanks to all of you,” Kelly told her audience when announcing the network. “Last month, we launched the new AM Update with Megyn Kelly and the response has been very strong.”
The network launch signals confidence in her business model and audience growth potential, particularly as video podcasts continue gaining traction. YouTube now counts more than one billion monthly active users in the podcast space, making it a dominant force in content distribution.

Part of a Broader Trend
Kelly joins a growing list of podcast hosts leveraging their platforms to create broader networks. “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper launched The Unwell Network, while HBO’s Bill Maher established a network around his “Club Random” podcast.
Media analysts note that right-leaning talent has found particular success in this space. “Look at the monopoly the left has had on the news and the conversation for all of the country’s modern history,” Kelly wrote on her website. “It has only been the last couple of years that the right and the independent-minded have developed this new space.”
This perspective appears to guide Kelly’s expansion strategy. “I am looking to help promote more sane, reasonable, and entertaining people with unique perspectives and courage to say the truth, and MK Media will give me the ability to do so,” she explained.

Future Expansion Plans
According to Kelly, this initial launch represents just the beginning of her network ambitions. “MK Media will continue to expand with more announcements to come soon — some beyond just news and entertainment,” she stated, suggesting potential forays into additional content categories.
While Kelly emphasized supporting “smart, honest, fact-based voices,” she also acknowledged the importance of diversifying content offerings. Her network aims to provide options for audiences seeking specialized content that might not fit within her main show’s format.
The network’s shows will be available on dedicated podcast feeds, YouTube channels, and social media accounts. Kelly has directed interested listeners to MK.media for future updates.
