Christopher Brian Bridges was born on September 11, 1977 in Champaign, Illinois to Roberta Shields and Wayne Brian Bridges. He spent the first twelve years of his life in Illinois, but moved to Atlanta at twelve years old. He attended Banneker High School, in Atlanta, Georgia in 1995. After graduation, Ludacris attended Georgia State University from 1998 to 1999 for music management. In 2003, he wanted to bring a new album to the music lovers, that would get them moving, and therefore released the album, Chicken-n-Beer. The same year he released this controversial album, he pushed his talents in to acting, with a major role in the film, 2 Fast 2 Furious.
