Larry Linville was born on in the year 1997 on September 29 in Ojai in California in the United States of America. He was the son of Fay Pauline and Harry Lavon Linville. He grew up in Sacramento.
He attended the El Camino High school. Then later he went to the University of Colorado at Boulder to study aeronautical engineering. After which he applied for a scholarship to study in the Royal Academy of Arts which is in London.
When he came back to America he started his acting career at the Barter Theatre which is in Abingdon Virginia for about a year under director Robert Porterfield. In his personal life, he had married five times.
His first wife was Kate Geer who was also the sister of the famous actress Ellen Geer. He had a daughter with his first wife and was named Kelly Linville who was born in the year 1970 after which they got divorced.
His daughter is now a photographer and a technician in Los Angeles.Then he also got married and divorced to Vana Tribbey, Melissa Gallant, and Susan Hagan. His fifth marriage was with Deborah Guydon who was by her side when he died.
In the year 1998 in the month of February, he went under the surgery to remove a part of his lung as the doctors found out a malignant tumor under his sternum.
Over the next two years of his life, he was given the treatment continuously but his health problems continued. Then in the year 2000 on April tenth, Larry Linville died of Pneumonia after complications from his cancer surgery. In California’s sea off Bodega Bay, his ashes were scattered.

He also played the role of a doctor on the television movie The Night Stalker. In the show Misfits of Science, he played the character of the “Crazy General”.
Then finally in the year 1997 on the deactivation ceremony for the last remaining U.S. MASH unit in Korea he joined the other members of the show.
