Larry David is a successful Television Producer, Writer, Stand-up Comedian and Actor from the United States. He has written and co-produced two popular TV Comedy series “Seinfeld” and “Curb your Enthusiasm”. Larry was born in Brooklyn, New York on 2nd July, 1947. His parents are Father Mortimer Julius Morty David was from Germany and his mother was from Ukraine. He attended Sheepshead Bay High School and graduated in History from University of Maryland, College Park
He was enlisted in the United States Army Reserve for a period of time.
Larry started off as a Stand-up Comedian even while doing odd jobs for a living. He lived in Manhattan Plaza where he got inspiration for some of his characters in Seinfeld.
He first joined ABC’s “Fridays” as an actor and writer. He then joined “Saturday Night Live” in 1984 where he worked as a writer for one year.
In the year 1989 he joined another comedian Jerry Seinfeld to do a pilot show called The Seinfeld Chronicles for NBC. Later called Seinfeld it became one of the 50 greatest TV shows of all time according to TV Guide. While he was the writer for this show, he made appearance from time to time. David left Seinfeld after the 7th season but returned for the final episodes. This series brought him both fame and money. He has received 19 Emmy nominations for Seinfeld alone. He is still earning from syndication deal of this series.
In the year 1999 another program “Larry David: Curb your Enthusiasm” was aired on HBO Cable television. This serial was quite popular and led to many Pop cultural expressions like “Larry David Moment” The show garnered 30 Emmy nominations. It received one Emmy and one Golden Globe award.

Larry married Laurie Lennard in 1993 and they had two daughters Cazzie Laurel and Romy March. They divorced in 2007 due to differences.
