Justine Tanya Bateman was born on February 19, 1966, Rye, New York, to Victoria Elizabeth, a former flight attendant of Pan Am, from the United Kingdom, and Kent Bateman. She grew up with her younger brother, actor, director, and producer, Jason Bateman. Justine Bateman attended Taft Charter HIgh School, in Woodland Hills, California. Unfortunately, she never got the opportunity to experience college life at her young age, because of her contract obligation with the television show, Family Ties. However, she did earn her degree in Computer Science and Digital Media Management from UCLA, in her later years, in 2016.
Justine Bateman’s acting career started when she was a teenager, playing in the well known 1980’s television show, Family Ties. Playing the daughter of the Keatons, she played Mallory Keaton, until the show ended in 1989. However, while filming the show, she also starred in the television series, Tales from the Darkside, for the episode, “Mookie and Pookie.” She also guest starred in the television series, Lois & Clark: The New Adventure of Superman, in 1996.
