Tara Leigh Patrick, known by her stage name, Carmen Electra, was born on, April 20, 1972, in Sharonville Ohio, to Harry Patrick, a guitarist and entertainer, and Patricia, a singer. Carmen Electra is the youngest of six children. She attended Ann Weigel Elementary School, while studying dance under Gloria J. Simpson at Dance Artists Studios in Western Hills, until she was nine years old. Electra attended Princeton High School, in Sharonville, and graduated in 1990.
