Before becoming a star himself he already had fame in his family History in the form of his uncle Dr. Henry Heimlich who is the doctor behind the Heimlich maneuver.
In the year 1971, he appeared with John Amos in a commercial for McDonald’s.
Speaking of his personal life, he has been married twice. His first marriage was to the famous actress Lorrie Mahaffey who had also worked on the show “Happy Days” in the year 1978.
